Covid-19

Covid-19

I’ve updated my protocols and office policies for appointments due to the global pandemic.  I am fully vaccinated and happy to offer virtual and in person sessions to address your health concerns.

Online/Telemedicine Appointments

This is perfect if you are more comfortable with getting care remotely or have cold, flu, or Covid-19 symptoms. These wellness/herbal consultations are held over a secure, online HIPAA compliant interface and include a discussion on your current physical and emotional state, personalized acupressure treatment, herbal consultation*, dietary and lifestyle guidance and more (*price of herbs not included in the consultation).

I'm offering these at a discounted price:

  • New Patients: $140 now $70
  • Existing Patients: $95 now $50
  • Herbal* consultation Existing Patients: $30
  • In-person Appointments

Please help me keep our community safe and healthy by agreeing to these policies when you come in.

Screening: You will NOT be seen in person if you are sick and have ANY of these symptoms: fever, body aches, sore throat, cough, shortness of breath, fatigue, loss of taste/smell, stuffy nose, sinus issues, new or sudden digestive upset. Instead, we can do an online telemedicine appointment.  Also, if you have come in direct contact with a Covid positive person, you must wait 14 days and be asymptomatic and/or receive a negative Covid-19 test result in order to schedule an in-person appointment.  Likewise, if I present with any of the above, I will cancel our appointment.

Cancellation fees: If you make an in-person appointment and develop any of the above symptoms, you will need to cancel the appointment. I am waiving cancellation fees for this reason only.

Masks: Please wear a valveless mask upon arrival. Masks will be worn by both of us for the entire duration of the treatment.  If you don’t have one, I will provide one for you.

Handwashing: First thing upon arrival, you'll set your belongings down in a designated area and then wash your hands and wrists.  I'll wash my hands too before we have any contact.

Distancing: During our intake and consult, we will maintain a 6-foot distance from one another.

    Clinic Covid-19 Procedures

Additionally, here are some of the things I'm doing to keep us safe.

Sheets: Sheets are changed for each patient.  If you prefer, you may bring your own sheets.

Disinfecting:  I'm scheduling my patients further apart so I have plenty of time to disinfect all high-touch surfaces and any other items that you or I have touched.

Airflow: Between patients and/or during the treatments, windows will be open to promote air circulation or a medical grade air purifier will be running.
